If you push the updown button the windless comes on but will not pullrelease the anchor line. I can pull in the line from the line anchor line locker and pull out the line by just pulling on it from the bow pulpit.
I popped the cover off. I saw an oil reserve on the port side. On the starboard side was a gear looking thing that twisted out and in. I was hoping to see something simple I could 're-hook' to get it working. I was concerned about testing it with the cover off (switch is on the helm console) for fear of blowing oil everywhere.
Any suggestions on what to look at, look for and how to test with the cover off?
