Has anyone installed one of those "Sea View Inserts" in their vinyl windows? It's supposed to be for an upper helm station, but I would think about putting one in the window of my single station. I find that I like to leave the plastic window up anyway partcularly at this time of year, but it gets hard to see at night and in the rain.
Of course there are times when I would want to take the window down so I wonder how easy it is to disconnect a panel with this insert. And how much it costs.
If you haven't heard of it, it's a tempered glass panel w/ wiper+washer that can be placed in cleary vinyl boat window. It's supposed to give you better visibility for safer operations in bad weather, without getting soaked.
