I know it's cold, and will be around freezing for the next week.

I know it snowed----again. UGH.

I know this winter will not end.

But it's 1700 hrs and very bright out. Hang in there the boating season is around the corner.

How's winter life on the boat?
You have a lot of ice in marina?

While it's been cold outside, inside has been toasty warm. A Hurricane heating system with 4 zones keeps everything at around 70 degrees. The only time we had ice problems was when we had that spell of single digit weather. I had one of those whirly bird ice eaters to keep things free.
Hope to see you out there this summer.

Yes, the light at both ends of the day is helping, but this never ending cold is eating at me. And there is very little warming in the long range forecast. At this time, I am usually grinding away on my running gear but it's/I'm too cold/old for that.

We spring the clock ahead in a few weeks. That means more daylight in the evening, but less in the morning. Luckily for me, I don't have to get up early anymore other than to let our dog out into the backyard. Being semi-retired has its benefits. I teach one class this semester on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 12:30 to 1:45. I don't want to work too much. Hy
