Single digit temps this morning, now this coming tomorrow:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING.

DEEPENING LOW PRESSURE OVER THE ATLANTIC SATURDAY AND SATURDAY
NIGHT WILL RESULT IN THE POTENTIAL FOR A PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOW AND
GUSTY WINDS ACROSS REGION. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 10
INCHES WITH WIND GUSTS OF UP TO 35 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. THE GREATEST
POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS WILL BE ALONG THE COAST
AND IN THE NEW YORK CITY METROPOLITAN AREA.
 
Well, Charleen and I will be on the River tomorrow but only briefly. Then the Ambrose Channel and beyond aboard the Norwegian Gem for a well deserved vacation.
It will feel good to leave this storm and the winter behind for a while. This time tomorrow we will be drinking something very strong from a coconut.

Have fun - Never been on a cruise ship in a snow storm. You may be drinking hot cocoa from the coconut.

It's been messy down here as well! I know. Back off Dan... We have company that WAS going to fly home to Newark today. That ain't happening. But we had to cross the Sea of Abaco yesterday to get them to the airport which ain't happening today. Just about straight into 40 knots of wind. It's shallow so we only had 3-4 but it was a WET ride.

I'll sit there all week...put a hair dryer blowing in my face, no worries!
 
I cant wait till I have to get out there in the snow to start clearing it! I am so looking forward to it..
 
I just had a cord of wood Delivered to my driveway just as it started to snow. I had to cart and stack as quick as I could in case the snow got heavy and then I wouldn't be able to use the snow blower to clear the driveway. Now may back is killing me and I'm hoping the snow is a false alarm because I don't have the strength to clean the driveway. The fire and the tanqueray help make it all worth while. So let it snow let it snow let it snow. Did I say that what was I thinking. Must be the Tanqueray talking.
