ok, I have twin 5.0 MPIs with BIII on my 2002. I am going to winterize tomorrow and was wondering if someone can tell me where the all the drain plugs are & how many so I don't miss any. My last boat had a total of 4 (for one engine), 2 on the block and 2 on the manifolds. If I remember correctly, I think there was one on this boat by the B-III pump (front of engine) & then I assume one on each side of block.
My plan is to run the engine till its warm, change oil & filter. Run engine again till it's warm, open drain plugs, then run engine with A/F - all on ear muffs. Should I take out the thermostat? Never did on other boat, but often wondered.
