Hi Guys,
I have a 2001 Carver 356 motor yacht. I am trying to winterize my water system for the first time. At the water heater I have two tees, one cold water in, the other is hot water out.I want to jump the two tees so I don't have to fill the water heater with anti-freeze. The hose is 3/8 plastic called aquapex. I can order it if I want to order 400 feet, but I only need 3 feet tops. What have you guys done or can I find this hose somewhere reasonable.
Thanks,
Billy K.

When dealing with plumbing issues its interesting how often the solution is at your local hardware store. Last year I had trouble finding a faucet for the bathroonm sink in my 3227 and stumbled intio the perfect fit at Lowes.

I generally don't fill my HW system but drain it first and pour about 3 gal in the remaining water tank. Let the pumps do it's job until I see a little pink in the bilge.....

Same on all sinks etc....never had an issue

Thanks for the input. I solved the problem with 1/2 inch clear hose (and 2 hose clamps) which snugly fit over the water system hose. Billy K

Billy K, hook up a bypass hookup permanently and you'll be ready every winter layup.
