I winterized this weekend and just want to make sure I did this correctly so that I can sleep at night. I drained the block (4 drain plugs) on port and starboard block and manifolds. Then replaced the plugs and ran on muffs ~6gals of AF. It ran for approximately 3mins. while it sucked up the AF. Should I be worried that the thermostat didn't open? I thought that by first draining the block that the AF would mix with whatever water remained and that would be sufficient. Please assure me that I did this correctly. I did poke something in all 4 of the drains to make sure all the water drained out.
