Progressive Insurance is sure on the ball. I just received an email saying that they're agents are ready to respond to any boat damage resulting from the severe storm moving into my area.

This storm just became a named storm today and Progressive already has their email list working.

Good to hear. Mine is through USAA (United Services). I talked to them a couple of weeks ago about something and they told me that they no longer write boat insurance but pass it off to Progressive. USAA will keep mine as is until I talk the admiral into selling the big house and small boat and buying the big boat and no house.

Pathfinder, mine is also through USAA. I believe that USAA outsources any boat valued over $50,000.

As far as rates go they were the best that I could find around here. I am paying approximately $1,300 per year on a 1999 Pursuit 3000.

That's an old boat. Is it made of sticks and mud?

George ... Progressive was awesome after IVAN hit Pensacola ... I had 12K worth of damage .. paid promptly with no problem ... rates did not go up!!!

Typo. How about a 1999 Pursuit.

It probably would realy be worth a lot of money if it was a 1900.

I also have Progressive that was referred through USAA. Good rates, good communications. Have not yet had to file any claims, however.
