It's a small very well protected cove up by Haverstraw. Entrance is about 100 yards and then opens up to a rather large bay. Zero wind mor currents. The only thing you need to be cautious of is directly in middle is a rock wall that is hidden in hightide. If you stay very close to shore on the port side, the water is deep.

Those Pilings are seldom seen but dangers as hell! The first time I saw them it blow my mind I could believe I hadn't already hit them in the past. Of coarse this was in my last boat which had a must smaller draft.
