90 degrees today!! Only one other boat in Bowline, not many out on the river. What a great weekend!
 
WOW!!! It's 86 degrees in the Gulf of Mexico...
 
Beautiful day today I went out for a short ride and then dropped off the boat to be hauled.
 
I was out on Monday as well, but just for the short trip to Marlboro to be hauled. We saw several other boats, a couple of jet-skis, even a water-skier. River still has a lot of debris...
 
It's a small very well protected cove up by Haverstraw. Entrance is about 100 yards and then opens up to a rather large bay. Zero wind mor currents. The only thing you need to be cautious of is directly in middle is a rock wall that is hidden in hightide. If you stay very close to shore on the port side, the water is deep.

There are also submerged pilings on the starboard side of the opening so heed AM's warning and keep port both entering and until well inside the pond.
 
HOGAN- Any chance we can get the ActiveCaptain PDF placed into a sticky note in this forum?
 
Those Pilings are seldom seen but dangers as hell! The first time I saw them it blow my mind I could believe I hadn't already hit them in the past. Of coarse this was in my last boat which had a must smaller draft.
