I am looking at transporting a 428 Chris Catalina from the south up to Michigan. Any tips on how to hire a good hauler? What questions should I be asking?
 
Hired a truck to transport a 36’ flybridge from NC to sw FL 6 years ago. It was simple, I had the boat hauled and hired someone to remove flybridge and prepare for trucking. Trucker and I agreed on price and delivery date.

The marina that hauled the boat recommended the trucker.
