That's correct. We went by boat once, docked at 79th street, had a car service to the stadium, bailed and took the 4 train due to traffic.
They are currently building a Metro North station at the stadium (finally! The tracks have always been there). For those of us on the Hudson, we will be able to dock at a marina across from the train station and take MN to the game. Such as the marinas in Tarrytown and Ossining.
FWIW, you can take a water taxi to the game from Wall Street and other places.
