It looks like my fav website, lowcostboatingstore, has gone out of business. Although I can see the site, I cannot process a cart and their email is getting bounced back. So I need a good source for zinks and the like. What's everyone using these days?

Defender, fisheries supply and Jamestown are very good

For zincs I use BoatZincs.com. Nice people and they ship out the same day from MA. I'm in NY and I get them the next day.

The ones mentioned are all good, but don't overlook Amazon and ebay. There are some wholesalers, such as Goldcoast Marine, who have ebay stores. Just bought some paint that beat Fisheries Supply price by 29% - with free shipping. And Fisheries Supply has great prices.

Their website isn't the easiest to find things, but I've been a big fan of nuwave marine, in south NJ, for past ten plus years. https://nuwavemarine.com/ I am guessing they ship from same wholesalers that Boatfix used to use, because I get my parts next day in most cases.

I use Amazon quite a bit as well. Not a big fan of eBay even in a store format.

yeah, ebay is usually vendor of last resort - maybe order two or three times per year. But every now and then, price for same exact product is up to 30% under the competition. Same gallon of paint I had delivered yesterday that is $343 at fishery supply was $255 at ebay/Goldcoast. Have seen it for $400 at the local shops.

I usually check Amazon first for everything
I hate buying from Amazon just for the principle of it, but, damn, they make it so easy and returns are a breeze. Just print off a return authorization (which is easy) and take the item to the local Kohl’s store just a few miles away and hand them the item and the RA form. I don’t even have to box it up. Credit shows up on my credit card within minutes.

Amazon rules... what is "the principle of it"?

What do you hate about the company you support???

Thanks everyone, I've checked these sources and they all sell a few of the items I need. So it looks like I'll have to order from two vendors and pay shipping twice. But oh well...

I would prefer to support a locally owned retailer, who hires local people and pays taxes to our locality.

I usually check wholesalemarine.com first, Amazon second and then Defender. Last year I bought t a Raymarine autopilot for my CC and I used Defender. There were some rebates and It was good to be able to talk to someone about them. Price wise Defender beat out Wholesale Marine by only a couple dollars.

Generally, I like Defender, BUT, they do not carry magnesium anodes. I generally place a major order in the spring for my wants & needs, and since they do not stock my 'mags', I go elsewhere!

Marineengine.com
Is very good, I like them because they sell OE engine & drive parts but also aftermarket parts for NLA parts you might need.
Crowley Marine is good too but only original equipment parts

About 6 months ago, I bought something off eBay but never rec'd item nor a credit. We went round & round re this matter to no avail. Will "NEVER" buy or order from them again.

I have bought a number of things on ebay (for discontinued or NLA parts, its the only source in many cases) and by using highly rated sellers I had good luck. I picked up bunch of NLA OMC Cobra parts (complete transom mount, spare outdrive, exhaust Y pipe, power steering assembly) and a spare intake marine intake manifold for my old 4.3 V6 for when the original rots out. But it can be a bit risky I guess. This saved me from having to convert my old boat to a merc or a volvo drive system, since I have everything that could go wrong with mine just sitting in the garage!
