Yeah, Don, why did Primo need surgery?

Dave.........He had a large Lipoma on his side and hind leg ( port side ) that needed to be removed.
It took quite a few stitches to put him back together....( thank goodness for pet health insurance )......but he's doing fine now......and wants to get out on the boat !!!

Wow....that stinks!
Better now than when he can't get it wet in the summer.

Gizmo says, "Get well soon!".

How much did the Pet Insurance cover? When I looked at that what I didn't like was that it didn't cover very much. They had limits.

Dave..........We had the pet insurance since Primo was about 3 months old...........and so far it covers almost 50% of most of his Vet bills. We submitted the claim form....we'll see how much of THIS it covers.

He goes back next week to get the stitches removed..........then he'll be good to go in the water ( hope he doesn't leak and sink ).

Jake says "Get well soon Primo, I saved you some room under my umbrella"

We had one removed from Kimmi this winter and had her teeth cleaned - cost us $1200!!

...and now the damn thing it growing back!

Mike..........That sucks..........

Primos operation costs almost as much as my new canvas for the boat !!!

We're happy to find out this morning from Primo's doctor....that the lab results show his Lipoma to be NON cancer.

Let the season begin...............

Talk about the phone not ringing!!!!!!!!

The last 2 1/2 weeks we have been dead, like someone fliped a switch.....

This sucks

Although I'm busy now, I can relate...

But more important, shrink wrap is off and bottom stripping scheduled for 4/1. New mattress should be delivered next week, sanitary guy should be replacing all hoses and installing a monitoring system starting next week, diesel guy is scheduled for week after and yard is doing their thing.

Fingers crossed for decent weather.

The Babylon Marine mechanic who I use prefers to start my engines and do a complete test of systems including water, AC etc. It is part of the winterization. So I take the day off Monday 3/24 after Easter and schedule for him to come. I planned it three weeks before.

The BOG decided to repave the driveway and would not have access, other than on foot which is a rather long walk with tools. Of course I forget, and am excited to get things going and commissioned. We were going to turn on the water to the docks… I wake up early on Monday and read my e-mail oh crap no access, no water WTF…. I had to call and cancel… Bummer….. Stayed home anyway…. The kicker was they did not even get to the part of the driveway to cause no access.

I think next week I may have a hang nail…. Or what’s a good sick day excuse ? [:-idea]

Brad....go see Dr. Weekoff......he's good at curing all sickness

Don, the one they removed was benign, and they checked the new one - also benign. Doc says to leave it alone.

Mike.....Our OLD vet... after numberous aspirations ...told us it was benign and to leave Primo's Lipoma alone when it was the size of a grape...........the NEW vet recommended to take it out (1 1/2 years later ) it was the size of a softball....and it had become invasive thru muscle tissue and attached to his ribs.

Get a 2nd opinion........I think having them removed early is the best way to go.

I'm getting there, shrink wrap is off, engine battery is changed, generator battery back in place, impellors changed, etc... Boat should be waxed and bottom painted soon. Launch set for 4/18.

Don, hope Primo is all recovered soon!

John,

4/18??? You are gonna miss all the great flounder fishing!!! Maybe I'll take ya with me.
