Hi, I have a 2001 Silverton 330 with twin 5.7L crusaders.
The starboard engine won't start! The port engine is fine.
I've narrowed it down to the circuit which engages the high pressure fuel pump is not turning on via the ignition. Any ideas if there is a fuse somewhere?
What I have done:
- Took ignition out, it's a 3 wire, jumped the red to the purple then temporarily hit the yellow to turn the starter, still no go.
- Put a timing light on cylinder one, light works fine
- Unplugged fuel cell, added power, I can hear the pump and the relive valve pumps fuel.
- When trying to start, I do not hear (or feel) the fuel cell turn on.
This seems to be a fault between the ignition and the fuel cell/fuel pump circuit. Is there a fuse?
thanks in advance!
