Anyone doing any overnight trips before haul out ?

What a great weekend at Atlantique with great weather both days. Felt like early mid September. It was a little cooler on Saturday with a bit of a breeze, but Sunday it was as flat as a mill pond in the marina. You just don't get this often in late October.

It was pretty empty but the few boats that came had exceptionally nice people on board. Met a few from the Bay Shore marina that makes me want to take a look there since I am an Islip resident. Guy and Debbie were our dock neighbors and we had some laughs along with my first time Crock Pot Chili. Also met Don and Donna (I think) Gerry, I think you may know them ;-) great people.

We had at least 4 or 5 boats that were maybe's with no real commitments except one, but thought at least someone from our group would show up, but none came.

I don't want to rub it in to my buddies, but this was a 8 or 9 out of ten if you take some of the night chill out of the factor. This may be a rap for us unless a perfect weekend, then I may go to Kismet.
 
That crew from A dock at Bay Shore marina is a great group. My father in law is part that group along with Gerry, Don et all. They all socialize year round and its a great bunch of people.
 
Bill, I would have to second that. Brad, you would be welcome into our den of thieves!!

Gerry, you don't have to thank me, thats what we do for each other. If I don't see you have a great but short winter.
 
Looks like another good weekend. Mid 50's sunny, I'll take it.

Plans up in the air, bum knee all of sudden, but not sure if it’s actually the knee though, it is to back of the outside side of the knee (left leg). Not sure what happened just started to hurt real bad after getting up form my desk this Monday. I am Limping a lot. I had this a couple weeks ago, but for about a day or
two, so I didn’t think much of it. But this week it has not gone away, which makes me feel like old man.

I am hoping to do Kismet Saturday Morning, but maybe another Atlantique.
 
Getting old is a real eye opener...........back in the day, I could have a fight (real fighting, boxing) get beat up, I could have a bar room fight, I could do manual labor till everyone quit. The next day I was ready to rock and roll again. Today, I watch law and order, go to bed and I wake up in pain!!!!! WTF :)
 
Walter, I know the feeling. I plant some spring annuals and I feel like I came back from the gym... Gym whats that ;-)

Ms. Admiral Linda made an executive decision and we are heading to Atlantique early Saturday morning. I did want to go to Kismet, but maybe I am getting old, I love the place and don’t mind having to use the generator , but maybe spring / summer. It is getting cold at nights now. Maybe it is the same when we open Kismet in mid April, but spring is coming. Seems different now.

She read my mind, I guess when I said more than a few times are you sure you want to Kismet?

Looks like a sunny / crisp weekend.
