Just got my permit today and I am #026. Can't seem to get the # 001 but was #009 last year.
The rates went up again, but still cheaper than WH or Sailors, at least for Islip residents. Non-Res can dock from Sunday 6:00PM-Friday 11:00AM during the season at the discretion of the Dock Master. Off Season they rarely bother you. They do have rates posted for Non-Res on Weekends and don't mention off season, so I guess it depends if they are full.
But someone please interpret this: You may dock at Atlantique Marina for up to 12 consecutive days. If you stay 7 through 12 days, you must depart for at least 72 hours which include a full weekend.
How is that allowing you to stay 12 Consecutive days ?
P.S. You must pay daily Monday-Thursday. Only weekends are in advance. They had this rule last year, but boats never left around the July 4th week, before or after. A lot of people have a lot of days off ;-)
I now need my knee to get back in shape after the surgery so I can go !! But with PT, it is doing much better. Should be good to go within 3 weeks or sooner. After 9 days now I stopped using the cane. And am mostly without any pain.
