We own 1988 Carver 32 Convertible (3227). There is a bilge pump below the floor of mid cabin (just past or about a midships) and another in aft of boat centered about 8-10 inches from transom. I usually have standing water, inch or so from forward engine compartment bulkhead back as far as the garboard drain stopping short of reaching the aft bilge pump. I thought about moving the aft pump forward, but when she gets on plane then the water would run back and not be pumped out. Can I add another bilge pump to the low area and tap into the aft discharge line? Also I'm not so sure that I may have two low spots. One ahead of battery compartment and the other at the garboard drain. Suggestions please.
