Cape Coral General Information

"The Cape" made the news again. Despite not having a huge percentage of seniors, it made the Forbes' list again for best places to retire. It moved up from last year's number 10 spot to this year's number 8 spot nationally, and taking the number 1 spot in Florida. Being a retirement list, it takes into account cost of living, etc.

This is our permanent address. We own here so it's going to be a while (I suppose). We still have the boat, we may sell it, but I don't see that happening real soon even if we put it on the market now.

Happy to report that we have returned to Orchard Park Ny after enjoying our 5 week stay in Cape Coral. The weather in March was perfect
We will be back next year.

Hey, I haven't checked this thread for some time, however should all you retired folks want to do something, I'm still a workin guy here in Punta Gorda and if it was on a free weekend, count me in.

Maybe a day cruise, anchor out and lunch to Pelican Bay at Cayo Costa?
