Well Pascal's 28 hours to the new boating season got me wondering where the countdown was for us better boaters up north :) (Just kidding Pascal!)

Anyway, just wanted to make this easier to find so we can bump it now and then....

Countdown To Boating Season!

Posted 92 days, 13 minutes and 37 seconds till the start of the 2008 boating season.

OK John, before you say it, "imitation is the finest form of flattery." This is just as in yo' face as what you put up a while back! Thanks for the link, if you need anything for cleaning your boat you got a chip to call in here....G

At first I thought this was going to be a countdown for the New Year. HA! Not bad.

Only 91 days, hell, I can do that standing on my head!

My little boat will be in before that and my season starts again when I cut the wrap off the big boat since it's still floating.

Let's all hope we have a mild winter and quick start to spring!!!

JL

Man you guys are tough to please!

I think I'll change the thread topic to "Countdown to rommers season!" ;)

Somehow my wife seems to think a little trip on the NY Waterways ferry will give me the boating fix need. I told her only if they let me drive!

Rommer - I am using the same clock as you. Thanks for the countdown.

I need to make another countdown to the day the wrap comes off and I hire some help to compound and polish the hull.

I look at it this way:

New Year's Eve tonight, back to work for two weeks, then 10 days in Aruba. Back for the Super Bowl.

February is only 28 days, early March, cover comes off.

If it gets nice early, I'm with Jonathan, little boat gets wet and we play on that til Hogan goes in.

I'm shooting for April 15 this year, the last two years I didn't get in till end of May.

John,
April 1st is easy for you. Your in the water already!!! I think I remember laster year we had a cold spring!! A little to cold to paint as well.

Bob,
None of this talk about a cold spring is allowed . That type of language just is not acceptable on this board. Now repeat after me, warm spring, warm spring, warm spring.....and soon!

Why wait Bob, paint the bottom this weekend!

One of the nice things about wintering in the water is as soon as Butch's warm spring gets here I'm ready to go!

And as for you Todd, if Winters Remedy hits the water before May I'll have a stroke! ;)

John,
If you have a stroke who will operate your boat?!?. Todd in by April 15th...hmmm. Do we have any betters here?!!?

Butch,
I am a bad boy.
I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again. I will never say cold again.[:-banghead]

Is that better.

It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. It's Sunny Warm Weather. [:-eyebrows]
