Yeah, they're awesome - especially her. She's totally beyond his lea... I mean - they're a good couple.

So Shiloh gets along with Silky? Huh - maybe she could put in a good word for me. He never seems too happy to see me coming. (and that was WITHOUT my intention of stealing, er borrowing a turbo PWC from the neighbor)
 
I think Silky might be on to you SLW... just watch out for those teeth!!!

Ram, I think I'm going to have a guard dog position open for Silky.. as I mentioned, one of ours can't see very well.. the other.. well, she's too busy trying to impress Silky..

Hey, all our neighbors got new mail boxes (and new post's) except us.. probably because I was the one to call and complain!!!! ?? Maybe they don't like me after I told them they've hit it 7 times in 10 years?? (Yes, I am counting) I think the plow driver has mail box "KILLS" posted on his dashboard.. and/or maybe had a few too many 'cold ones' before he got to our street!!!

Now they're calling for 7-14" this weekend.. just in time for them to hit all the new mail boxs again.. except ours - since we DON'T HAVE ONE yet!!!
 
6:15 am on Friday, March 7...no snow yet, but I hear it's gonna be a doozy

Too bad SLW is going to miss all of the excitement.. the Admiral and I had Pomegranate Martinis when we got home last night..

We have snow drifts up to our A$$ in the drive.. we have more than that on the roof. (yes, I have a snow rake and will need to get that off too before it thaws - or there will be problems below)

The way it's still snowing and drifting, I'm going to have to trade the 8HP Merc for a snow blower!!!!!!!! SLW... PWC might not get launched until mid-august at this rate...
 
sorry to hear you got this one - finally missed us for once this year (got a dusting).
This stuff has got to stop soon....
 
marykhubby - you are soooo lucky... the snow is piled higher than the cars on each side of the driveway... it's like pulling into a tunnel to park.. it'll be a while before this all goes away. Hopefully, mother nature is done with us now until next winter.

Yea, I know.. I never count winter out until around tax day... if you remember, we had the Easter Sunday snow storm last year, which was April 8th... at least we're back to the melt down mode today now.. and yes, I got a ton of snow off the roof this morning.. it had to be at least a ton too.. looking forward to a little warmer week.. they said 50 by Thursday.. :)
 
I feel your pain. Toronto is flirting with the all time seasonal snow fall record set back in 1939....jus a couple more centimeters and this will be the snowiest in history. For those of us living north of the city, it has been even worse. 36 cms (14 inches) fri/yesterday. Enough, please! There's so much snow at the marina (made worse by it sliding off the shrinkwrap and collecting bewteen boats), we cant even get near the boat. Spring cant come soon enough........

SE Mich was spared, in comparison at least. By the time I got home last night, my driveway was dry.

Yea, I did that in Photoshop.. :) It would have been a lot easier to do..

Acutally I needed the excercise, so I did it the hardway.. unforntuately it's all real.. and somewhat compacted, since I had to stand on the pile to finish getting all the snow off the roof. I'd guess we had drifts of close to at least 5' on the roof too.. it all settles between the 2 peaks. If I don't get it cleared off before the thaw, the water from up above has no place to go, except in the house... thus my extra effort..

The pile by where our mailbox 'USED TO BE' is probably 6' It is taller than me.

FLA is starting to sound rather good about now..

Look closely. I saw something move - I think somebody got buried there going to your front door!
 
May 2nd. :( May move it up if we get some of the work done earlier. Need good weather to do it thou.
