Countdown

8 MORE INCHES of the white stuff last night.

I am going to the Storage area today to drop the propellers/shafts. Decided that it will be possible to "ski (SLIDE)" across the lake this year, and save money (on gas).
Now, if I can just figure out how to make gravity work in my favor so I can get back to port before spring arrives in 2009!

Stopped over at NorthPoint yesterday to take about 6" of snow off the top of our boat. Ice is working it's way out of the harbor. Hopefully first or second week of April we can get into our slip. This will be our first season here as slip holders. Although we have stayed as transients in the past, we are anxious to get settled in our new home port.

Stopped by yesterday, first nice day in a while, the lots were full of vehicles. Sailors were out getting their vessels ready for being placed in the water. Today doing yard work heard a throaty go-fast boat on the lake. If you look close you can see two vessels in their berths at Northpoint Marina

Uncovered Last Thursday, fired diesels on Friday, finished upper canvas Saturday, RIB is cleaned and in the water today.
Now if the dockominium property management will get the water turned on I can unhook my winter water line that runs underwater from the marina and go out for a ride.
