Any Yellowtail fishing?

Yes. Reef fishing was good this year. We got several nice ones which were delicous. There were some windy periods when we couldn't get out but nothing like last year. I got the black drum on a windy day when we couldn't get offshore.

How did we get from a countdown clock to reef fishing in the keys???

Enjoy the rest of the season down there, the inlaws are leaving Monday morning.

Hey Mike,

We have to talk about something while that clock ticks away.............

It's interesting to see the path some threads take...

We are leaving Sunday morning. The boat is secured on the trailer and I am packing the Jeep today. It's been a good winter here. Didn't have any snow. If we get done packing soon enough we're going to the nautical flea market in Islamorida this afternoon. I would hate to miss it.

I start the waxing this weekend. If I whistle like Huck Finn do you think anybody will do it for me?

It's worth a try, Hank.

Shrinkwrap coming off this weekend.

Im thinking about it. If not this weekend, next!

Is it really that time I have to get in gear so much to do. I had not thought about cutting for a least two weeks. I have to call about my railing and prop repair.

I have to say that even though it was a tough winter, it feels like I just put the boat away.

I guess time flies even when your not having fun, Go figure. I just called and have made an appoint to have my rail and prop repaired on the 8th or at least started so I should be right on track. A little polish and bottom paint and I'm good to go. I should be ready early this year not much to do. Well the platform mounts may slow me down a bit but I will get through it.

Starting to get excited now.

I guess it helps when you come out end of November and go in beginning of April. Four months out is pretty good. It also helps being inside. I can get a couple coats of wax on it early.

Not only that....tell those naysayers over at "Fuel...are you kidding me" that I burn 35 gphrb2@gr5t3500 rpm's with 8.1's and do 24 knots with a flybridge. And I can prove it. I have suck-o-meters on my boat. :) You should reserve an inside spot for next winter. It's hard to believe but sometimes in the middle of January, I'm the only one on my boat.
