Croaton Bay

Woke up with the wind, peeked out and it looked like we were dragging, took a bearing and noticed several boats were moving and were hooked solid.. but a sailboat in front of us was not..missed by about 10 feet other than that it was a great weekend...Nice place to hang,I know the Admiral must have liked it..she went for a swim...she never goes in the water even when I throw her in..long story..Later

Cruisers01,

Hey Im at work, I have all day for a long story...Might help the time go by!

Now as far as the wind, I was safely tied up at the dock in the marina, And boy did I sleep. Never new it was windy till I got up after 7....

Me too Butch, I woke up Sunday morning at 9am down at the Channel Club. My friend I was travelling with told me about the rain and the wind....I never even woke up...he was up for a bit and kept an eye on my boat. ;)

C'mon now, what's the story?

When I get time.Walshie what did ya think of the Channel Club? That's my neck of the woods,my friends moved their boat there this year and love it.I'm rb2@gr5t Navesink and love it there too...great nightlife, rest, bars etc.Docksiders in my marina is happening, and it's a dock & dine too.

We met a couple that just moved there from another marina..."Stocks and Blondes" a Silverton 330SB like ours...is that them? We loved the place, will definitely go back. One of the things we did not do is a dock and dine, wife wanted to on the way home but the wind was blowing strong so I chickened out...maybe next time!

Not them,my friends were in Croton with us,Sea Ray "Rainmaker" which helps explain Sat Nite..Every trip I do with them some kind of nasty weather shows up..Next time you are in the area and need any local info drop me a line..
