Too damn cold here to even think about the boat. It's shrink wrapped and napping for the winter.

I've got a zipper door in the shrink wrap so I can at least get a partial boat fix over the long winter! I've seen a 30 foot Santego on the internet with a walk-through, was that an option on the early 90s models or is that a custom job? I know they had it on the 34 Santego.

Funny thing is that while I had all the problems, the new owner did 385 miles down south without a hitch. I usually had "an issue a week"......

Would love to see some pics of the more spacious engine room when you are done. Although I love my Montego, I sure do miss my Mariner and your pics will bring back great memories of my first boat!
