Well there's always the possibility I've misplaced a piece or two Thud but I was careful in marking each piece. We tried to stack them accordingly but the puzzle deck had been shuffled a few times. I'll figure it out and if I get into trouble I'm sure Wayne will come bail me out!
 
Wow, what a project. I think I do pretty well at my little projects around the boat/house, but I have no where near the skill or patience for something like this. Just building the shed would have done me in. Please keep up the thread, I like seeing the pictures and progress.

I've committed my first "Act of Epoxy"! There's no turning back now.

I might infuse the inside of the hull once it's flipped. There's no way I'll get a good seal on a bare plywood hull. Vacuum bagging might get used on the cabin sides etc. I've got all the equipment to do both infusion and vacuum bagging.

I do struggle a bit with both processes and the disposables. I figure there'd be approx. $350 in peel ply, vacuum bag, feed lines, flow media etc. in one side of the hull. That's a lot of material to just gash when it's been used. Below is an infusion of a small carbon fiber project. About $10 in consumables just tossed away after.

LOL, Oh that panel mounted on the outside of that big "upside down" blue boat brings on the Cute Remarks.
I think I would have mounted it upside down so it would give an active imagination a real jolt!

Do a little Creative painting and You'll have everybody in the neighborhood driving by with a bad case of Vertigo!
 
Foredeck going together. Starting to get the feel for the size of this thing. It's a bit overwhelming at the moment and I haven't even gotten to the biggest panels yet.

When your busy, suddenly you realize the miles between points and around the tools n' Clamps, that the Boat begins to take on a 'Size'.
Suddenly you realize you need a partner to help with the building and a couple "handy Andy's" for tote n' fetch.

Mother Nature hasn't cooperated much this week so a little supplementary heat was needed.

The fordeck is 9' 6" from tip to tip if that helps with scale. Yup, it's big. Bigger parts to come though, the main cabin top is next. That'll be approx. 18' long by 8' wide.

I got to spend a good hour of up close and personal time with my belt sander tonight. I ran out of peel ply and tried somethin' from the ole' woman's sewing room. It didn't work too well an I had to grind it all off!

Fwd cabin roof going together as soon as it warms up a bit and I get the supplies I need.

Dont fall victim to panic Rick. Stick to the plan, even if it takes an extra day or so to stick with the plan!
 
Wow this is a huge undertaking Rick! At least you aren't building the boat in your basement!
My hat's off to you. If it were me I would have prefered to start by finding an existing Trawler and gutting the boat.
You really have some nice tools, if the boat comes out like the shed project it's going to be a very nice boat.

Thnx Bill & Thud. The shed was built to last only a few years. Long 'nuff to build the boat. Hopefully the boat will be built to last a weeeeee bit longer. The shed is huge as you've seen. The boat is going to fill it almost completely. Yup the biggest "WTF have I gotten myself into now" so far! ;-)
