I think we should try and help each other out and post what the fuel prices are in all areas of the bay. Also just those selling fuel on the water.

Lets just keep it to Fuel and say gas, diesel, octane, etc. Some dealers are posting prices without taxes included so make sure if that is the case you let everyone know!

A few cents here and there can add up on a fill for larger boats.

Personally I am not going to let fuel prices dictate the amount of time I use my boat. I may just alter the way we travel. Example, more headway speed, staying overnight on Saturdays instead of day trips on both Saturday and Sunday. I figure if I spend another thousand $$ or so it is a small part of my total expenses and that is a drop in the bucket compared to the overall picture.

I'd love to hear what everyone else has experienced and plans to do!

Not a bad idea, but in many instances, the savings you get will be eaten up in the gas you burn to get to another marina.

We travel all over the bay so it wouldnt be a bad idea to know what areas are cheaper than others. I may wait and fill up when I arrive at the area, say Baltimore, Annapolis, Rock Hall, St. Michaels etc. or just fill up where we are..

3.74 two days ago in Portsmouth (tidewater, best price in the area

Here in st michaels the signs say 3.99

Whenever i learn of a fuel price input it In active captain

Atlantic Marina Resort (mouth of the Patapsco River) show $4.59 on their gas pump.

Mike

Norman Creek Marina was $4.49 a gallon for regular as of Saturday.

anybody got a fairlee creek midgrade price? still a range of prices due to mixing of last seasons fuel. good thread.

before leaving, i noticed a sign showing 4.09 at Annapolis yacht basin...

prices are coming down a little, about 0.10 on diesel over the last week. if it continues, the trick will be to find the marina with the most recent fuel...

Yesterday, Piney Narrows in Kent narrows was 4.299 for mid gas and diesel was 3.899

Chesapeake beach was 3.99 for diesel and 4.299 for gas

got Diesel at Piney on Frdiay for $3.96, obviously too early in the weekend. We went to Dobbins Island and called ahead to two Marins there, Atlantic and Magothy and the prices for Diesel were something like $4.75 and $4.95 so Piney, even at the higher price than Van paid was a lot cheaper.
Also Mike at St. Michaels Marina will get you a discount for volume and cash, always worth asking and bringing cash now.

Filled aux tanks with diesel at Annapolis City Marina. Sign said $3.86 but pump read $3.62. Not sure if pump or sign was incorrect but I was happy with $3.62/gal. If I remember correctly, Piny Orchard 3 weeks ago was $4.29/gal.

$4.69/gal as of this weekend at Harbor North for 89 octane.... Two Rivers Yacht Basin was 4.39 for 89

Anchor Marina in North East, MD ....

89 octane $4.15 / gal
93 octane $4.30 / gal
No diesel.

This gasoline is cheaper than "land fuel" near me, which is $4.23 and $4.33 for 89 and 93 octane, respectively.

Anchor Marina in North East, MD
usually they have good prices for cash only, be sure before you pump. Butch likes cash, preferably in old non-sequential bills.
I'm just sayin

Piney Narrows in Kent Narrows was 3.899 for diesel and 4.1899 for gas on Sunday of Mem. day. I guess its headed down some.

$4.69 at Skip Jack & $4.75 at Georgetown on the Sassafras this past Memorial day..

Great Oak Landing $4.20 Diesel Memorial Weekend. I passed...

Anchor Bay East in Dundalk is $3.65 + tax for diesel, which comes to about $3.90, you can call them for the precise cost.

Baltimore Yacht Club, Monday 30/May $4.20 for Mid Grade Gas. Plus ten cent Boat US Discount. Sorry forgot to look at diesel.
