How did you guys choose sevensons over others, looking at transport options from fl to ny

They move all regals from factory so they know the boat

Good reason indeed. I'll have to inquire with them as well. Got some interesting bids on uship so far.
 
Be careful.
Svensons was the most expensive by far but you get what you pay for.
Not sure I would trust some unrecommended low baller on uship
Also check insurance as yours won't cover during haul some hauler has to cover.
Svensons sent me policy just for my boat made out to me for damage.
 
I do have concerns, trying to do my due diligence as I setup survey and sea trial
 
Svensons for me was easy. They were local, great on the phone answered every question. Stayed in contact with me, provided insurance. They even came down to the boat a head of time to make show us what to remove from the cock pit.

They showed up EARLY, the truck was well taken care of and as was the trailer, nothing ratty.

The price wasnt too bad, but it actually included a ton of permits which other companies said we have to pay after.

Yes, but the boat does have some "pavement" experience :)

I can advise who not to use. Im not a fan of ALL ISLAND . The truck driver " skippy/scooter (some redneck name ) did a great job driving but he has no business loading a boat onto a trailer. Ill just leave it at that for now. The owner showed up and REDID all the blocking. Good thing as it wasnt leaving like that. Im guessing they had no permits as they took every back road they could . Trailer didnt even fit on half the roads ( drove half on the shoulder )I could go on just avoid them. Not worth the stress.

Rob, thanks for that reccomendation I have to say i was suprised, i called svenson today and they were not far off from the lowest offical bid i have on uship.
 
Hmmm, now you have me nervous as I won't be there when they load it.
I was going to try to be but with work and they say depending on weather it may or may not leave on 2/5.
So didn't want to sit down there for a few days.
Figured betweer yard, guy I am paying to pack it up, and transporter, they have to get it right.
I have plenty of pics.
I feel I have to trust the pros to do it right.
They know the risks.
 
I won't be there either when they load mine, make me a bit nervous too, but I don't think I'm going to be able to swing a trip for seatrial and for loading. They told me raydome and such has to come off.
 
My entire hard top was stripped . Every bump was taped . Then string was run from the trailer cab across the hard top . Funny we had everything set up for the boat to go bow first on the trailer . It went stern first . All pre prep was for nada
