I have had Svensson haul by Regal 5 or 6 times and each time has been perfect. They take pictures before load-up, after and upon delivery to location. I was present only once and trust them entirely with the boat.

I found a company through U-Ship to transport from Ft. Meyers to NJ and they were great. I used "C-Line", you just need to do your homework.
 
Boat is ready to go. Pics coming.
I am going on truck stern first.
Boat is 14' even with drives on.
Driver is Howard the owner, so I feel very good about that.
Looking like it will arrive 2/7 or 2/8.
Hitting city around 3AM.
This is getting exciting!
 
Howard has hauled my boat each time as well. He is a perfectionist!

Do you know your height? Curious difference bw props and pods
 
Remember props can easily be removed so I'm betting Gary was lower in the truck than the pods could be Dave.
 
Maybe not. From what I understand the pods fit inside trailer and hang down, so pods are actually close to road. That is why boat is loaded backwards they said. So they can use the open area on trailer for pods.
But I am sure that overall tip to tip I am higher.

I will post pics when I get them of boat loaded up.
 
I am actually 13' 6" now.
They had the bimini laid down and transporter said pull it below and picked up another 6 inches.
 
Greenport is one of my favorite boating destinations over the summer.
 
I am not sure of the height, but I was always trucked with props and rudder on the boat

I think its height more than width of lenght but I guess your not gonna see 80' boats that are 20' wide being transported.
Most beams up to 16' I am sure. Lenght is limited by trailer and turns.
Height I think 15' is max.

Thanks Dave, I am looking for a boat and one I like and is priced reasonably is in Texas. I was wondering how to get it to the east coast as cheap as possible, but I think it is taller than 15' out of the water.

Your getting back in? Great! If they are too tall, they need to remove flybridge. This is not something I would do unless the price is right as I imagine there is lots of costs involved. Another option of course is to drive it around, but that would also be expensive but a hell of alot of fun! Count me in if you go that right!
 
Dave, Svensons is letting the boat go shrink wrapped on their trailer? I was going to have everything done up here, powerwashed, and shrink wrapped, and they told me they do not want the boat shrink wrapped at all during transport.

Ive seen boats before with shrink wrap being hauled, not sure why it made a difference.

I know my driver couldnt leave long island till 3am, thats when wide loads can enter and exit the island because of the bridge.

If thats the case, I would assume they would be at the Anchorage by 5am on whatever day they plan to be there...

I stayed up to watch my searay go on the LIE, never before have I seen a 310 Sundancer do 60mph, probably never will again lol
 
I think because I am going backwards on trailer they want it shrinkwrapped to help protect sliding glass door. I have alot of glass that can get damaged by flying rocks.
They had specific requirements on how wrap went on the boat. Normally they don't like wrap because it can shred and become more annoying or do damage.
