Wonder if she still moonlights.....

I remember seeing a documentary on this and they said it probably plunged deep into tens of feet of mud like someone already mentioned.

What makes you think it had "nuclear bomb" written on it. I have never seen one that had anything written on it.

The electronics for the firing circuit would have been long gone. However, someone with good electronics knowledge could rig a new circuit. With a weight of just under 8,000 it would not be easy to transport.

Calling the Mk 15 a "warhead" is incorrect terminology. It was never designed for nor used as anything other than a gravity dropped bomb.

I hope that you are doing well. Did you ever replace your Pursuit?

Best,

Joe

Hi Joe. Thank you for inquiring, I think I am doing pretty well for a 78 year old. Arthritis is my big handicap as it has me moving slow. Did have a prostate biopsy turn out positive, but the doctor said it was at such an early stage and mild that something else would get me before that did me in.

Never did and do not intend to replace the Pursuit. I am past the boating era. With the arthritis I just cannot even get on and off a boat with ease.

Hope all is well with you.

Thank you. I am doing reasonably well but still using my Pursuit mostly with the USCGA.

Oddly enough I am suffering from the same malady that you are.

Best wishes.

Joe

Thanks for the best wishes and many more for you Joe.
