WTF...Turkey has treir own flight demo team...They gonna come here? Maybe the T-Birds will be doing some sort of covert operation over there.

There is not going to be any Jets at the show this year, they are performing in Turkey instead, nice to pay taxes to pay for these jets only to show them off for foreign counties eh? Our idiot leaders at work!

If it's any consolation to Long Island aviation buffs, both the Blue Angels and the Canadian Snowbirds teams have committed to appear at Jones Beach in 2012.
 
The Canadian Snowbirds were excellent. There planes just are not as jazzed up as the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels but they put on a great show. I Agree almost not worth the day with out the big Boys there. I took the weekend as a vac pick so am going to go anyway. I keep hoping for a change in venue.

Blue Angels are my favorite. As a Navy Vet I'm a little partial. But the rest of the performers are great too, so if you're willing to brave the crowds and congestion you'll have a good time.
