I am not positive yet but I think your pics look a little more tropical and warm than my do! :) That water color is amazing.

And yes- it was a blast to get out in semi-warm weather and enjoy the day on the boat. I almost didn't know what to do with myself. I have grown use to going to the boat in 20-25 degree weather and working in the cold- felt odd to be warm and anchoring out!! :)
 
Woodsong Nice pics... What is your clearance with the mast? They must have some bigggg covered slips on the TN river.

I measured it at one time but I can't remember now off the top of my head. I do know this though- the mast is literally just about an inch or two too tall!! I have to lower it to get into my slip! :(
It is actually very easy to lower it and I am working a way to rig an extension line with some 1/4" line and some D rings that will allow me to lower just a hair to get in, and then pop it right back up.It's either that or take a sawzall to the edge of the dock roof! :)

Pascal no ice around the bottle? And where's the little table with the pate, cornichone, toast points, etc?

Just try to get there early, it was a mob scene when we were there. Charter guests didn't seem to mind. But not a place I'd want to spend much time.

There is a similar spot close by with a couple of mooring buoys on it that never seems to have any crowds, or like on the day we were there, no boats at all. You might take a look at it.
 
Definitely not recently, but the first weekend in August coming back across from Chicago to New Buffalo. Sandwich and chips in hand, with a hood ornament!

took a couple shots of San Mateo and Bay Bridges at lunch today. Bay is absolutely calm - like a mirror.
But, I guess I'm stupid because I cannot figure out how to post with the insert picture command.
