At last I'm borrowing Pascal's computer to chime in on this thread!
First, Pascal is a great captain. If anyone ever needs a hand with a delivery or a charter and he's available, he should be your first choice.
My role on Charmer is a combination of cook, reservation-maker, line-handler and occasional helmsman (even Pascal needs a break now and then). We also have two guests aboard who do not participate in running the boat.
It's been a great trip so far. "Managing the intercoastal" has had it's challenges due to shoaling in a few places. And we draw 6 feet. But so far we haven't run into anything we couldn't handle.
This morning, Sunday, we are delayed in Charleston by a line of strong thunderstorms coming through. With luck we'll leave around noon. In the meantime, enjoy the picture of Tranquility which just pulled in in front of us.
All the best!
