The boat will get to experience so winter cold as well. I guessing that will be also be a first! The lake will be pretty quite during the cold season and sitting there with a hot cup of coffee watching the sun come up will make me very envious! Fall cursing when the leaves change colors will be spectacular.I think y'all are going to have a woderful time in Tennessee. We will. I think we have 17 locks to go…
Last night for the boat in salt water in 55 years, afaik it has always been in sofl except a brief stint in Ga.
I think you're right. I remember we just got the tow put together and it was time to break it down again.I've only been through Wilson and Wheeler. Wilson was the worst. It's been under repairs in recent times. Wilson to wheeler locks are the shortest apart in distance for the whole system I believe.I do remember something about the time, but do not know any factual data.
Summer in Alabama is NOT where you want to loose air!Spent a couple of hours of quality time tracking down a chiller circulation pump last night…. Turned out to be the march pump capacitor. Luckily I remembered having a used motor somewhere saved from the Charmer days 12 years ago.
The motor was bad but the capacitor was good!
AC was back on by midnight
Demopolis is not where you want loose air!
Nice to see you caught Alabama's "white cliffs" at Epp's, Al. in your video.Yesterday brought us to a very nice anchorage on the TennTom in Warsaw Al. on Gainesville lake. Deep into an oxbow, wide with a few homes. Very peaceful.
