So I am gonna get my group to book, do we all agree to this or at least those joining us here and there:

6/23 - 6/26 3 nites Essex Marina 860-767-1267 http://www.essexislandmarina.com/
6/26 - 6/29 3 nites Mystic 800.344.8840 http://www.mysticrivermarina.com/
6/29 - 7/2 3 nite Sag Harbor (need to pick a marina, none have pools)
7/2 - 7/5 3 nites Westhampton

Andy, pick a place at Sag and we will book.
Mark, book Mystic RIver, we are not gonna get 6 boats.

Dave, I tried to reach Waterfront Marina today- No answer will try to get an other # for them
How may boat and what sizes for Sag?
 
I think Sag will probably be just me and Walter.
I am 34' with a 12' beam
He is 55' with a 20' beam.....oops sorry, that is his dreams, he is 34' with like a 14' beam.
May be a Searay with us too, 34' with a 12' beam.

I will keep trying to get Waterfront Marina at Long Wharf, they are right in town with the B Smith restaurant.
Both seemed to be closed -
I left a msg with the Chamber of Commerce and maybe they will get back to me soon
If this falls through, we can stay at Malloy Sag Harbor Cove West Marina (Formerly Baron's) its 2 short blocks from town and I know the dock master there- its a very nice place

I will be mailing out a deposit for WHB Monday AM, the marinas at Sag do not answer their phones - i will try more this week and if I get nothing I will mail them too

Got a form from Mystic River, so will mail that out.
Essex, I have to call and WHB, I have to call.
Let me know where in Sag.

How does Don book?

What nites are you there? We are looking at 7/2 - 7/5 but I can extend if I get wife on a train or car home?
 
Dave....I can't tell you all my secrets.........we're arriving on 7/3 .....departing on 7/6. Our arrival & departing times will depend on the high tide times.

I am sending out the deposit today for the nights of the 2,3,4 leaving on the 5th for greenport
Hope Don didn't hog all the slips

I called # 288-9496 with no response.

I booked Essex.....$4.70/foot!!!!!!!! Talk about ripoff!
Mystic River sent me a form, mailing that back.
Sag, we are waiting on Andy.

No form - just 'typed a letter with Name, address, phone etc.. Boat info like loa /beam etc and sent a check for $150 (3x50)
also said what dates we needed
 
Dave......If you want....Westhampton Beach Marina phone # is 631 288-1654...ask for Marina reservations....speak with Chrissy.... she in charge of resevations. They will want a 1 night deposit sent in with all your info written on the back of the check ( boat name..length/beam...your phone #...nights you want ..how much $$ you have in the bank...etc ). She will give you the mailing address. They will notify you when they book you.

P.S. the secret password is: ( whrymshryt itywemabcvsekohju ) say it clearly !!!

Don, how far is train station from marina and I take it that is the south line?
Need to figure out how to get wife to work in Melville on morning of 7/5 without leaving.

When did the # change ? I never had to make Formal reservations. Just hey Ira do you have slips for X date. Great, put me in your book. See ya then. And the password was "2 Jacksons in your Pocket"
 
Brad...... I know.........It's all diffrent now. They're playing by the book. We use to call Ira at home and make reservations....never sent money anywhere....except south. Jacksons were the password alright. He would move people around so we would have our 3 slips together. One year we even brought our own inflatable pool.......He was the BEST.

But it will still be alot of fun..........

Dave .....The train station isn't far. Get her up early....with a bottle of water.....she can walk it in about an hour. No...really its off Depot Rd.......best way would be to call a cab....they come to the marina in about 5 minutes.
