Dave, I don't "hold a grudge" - I just point out the facts.

Haverstraw and Minnesceongo both showed their true colors during Sandy. Haverstraw is a business, MYC is a yacht club.

One cared about fellow boaters, the other didn't - all they cared about was protecting themselves.

BTW, there were plenty of empty slips at Haverstraw, they could have taken in 20 boats with no problems.

You can't change the facts.

Dave I agree,you didn't bash SPBM. But if you look back at past posts alot of others did for what reason, I don't know. If it was out of fun I feel it wasn't right, others may feel different.

If i bashed or it seemed like i did i apologies to all. I am FB friend with some of the marina's around and i never used them or know them. They are a marina and it is something i love. So on a personal note peace you all!!! i still love my marina/resort best!!!

I agree Mike! I don't think anyone crossed the lines. I mean who on this thread doesn't go to visit other marinas??? Who doesn't like driving on Beach Dr and see the bay, the boats and other marinas??

Where else do you wake up and see the views of other marinas by pictures taken by fellow boaters!!

guess what!!! i made it walking from my car all the way to my boat with no stop yesterday. my kids did well this morning and didn't even need a water break

I am boatless this year thanks to Sandy so I haven't been as active on here as in the past... I do have a few observations though...

1st. You all sound like a bunch of old women. My marina better than yours, we have deep water.. Get a life, WTF!

2nd. You all seem to be a bunch of Dock Mary's this year. I can understand the HM crew not leaving the docks as that place sucks you in (I know I was there for years and hardly left the dock) but Mike and Todd, you guys have no excuses.. well except the tide of course...

3rd. Allen and Dave, I can see why you guys get along, you both write like 3rd graders. Ever heard of “Spell Check”, sometimes it is painful reading your posts.. Have some consideration would you.. Gesh...

Leigh, you should get your facts straight before you post - but I guess not having a boat has addled your brain.

We have been out every weekend that the weather has been good. We were one of six boats that stayed overnight in Bowline last weekend, and one of four that spent Sunday there.

Get into your RV, head to KOA and stick your D..k in the mashed potatoes....
