I can see it now, someone complains to the Town of Haverstraw that the channel into Bowline is not marked and too dangerous and the town shuts down boat access...OR They mark it and you have every yahoo on the river in there.

The best thing about Bowline is that is it usually calm and quiet. I believe the main reason it does not get too overcrowded is that many are afraid to enter. It should stay that way.
 
Todd, Wayne is just trying to convince himself the move was the right thing (for him) to do and I am not sure he is convinced. It is kind of like the school boy that is mean to girl he likes...

This is the first season in 16 years I have been without a boat so yes you are correct, you are the one with the boat but take it from me, that can all change rather quickly...
 
Are planning to buy another boat? Or are you threatening to destroy Alan's that was a little cryptic. I'm sorry it very hard to understand what you are trying to say!
 
All this talk about bowline and wanting to make its access easier has gotten me to thinking. Perhaps the town should close it off completely since it is the final resting place of at least 3 people from the landslide of 1906. Who needs all this boat traffic disturbing there final resting place. Just a thought.
