Just to get us back in the spirit, I thought I'd repost one of my recent posts from the old place...Regal Row.
For the benefit of our new BoaterEd friends, Hot Knots is a marina in Orillia, Ontario, Canada that has been one of the most prolific Regal dealers in the world (now Crates Lake Country Boats). They had won the sales volume award a couple of times over the past five or so years.
As a consequence, we have lots of Regals. One part of the marina, where I hang my hat, we refer to as Regal Row.
Along a stretch of dock, we have the following Regal lineup - 3860, 3560, 4260, 3560, 4260, 3860, 4260 and a 3360.
We think its a pretty site
The marina is a very social place and most of us along this row spend quite a bit of time rafting at Big Chief Island in Lake Couchiching, Ontario. We also spend quite a bit of time cruising the historic Trent-Severn Waterway which stretches through 45 locks from Lake Ontario through to Georgian Bay of Lake Huron. The Trent-Severn also forms a segment of the Great Loop, for anyone whose familiar with that boating marathon.
Georgian Bay is pretty spectacular and many consider it to be amongst the best fresh water boating areas any where in the World.
Anyway, just a few reflections of our little spot. More new stuff to come.
