Well, over 1600 new active topics...yikes! I'll never get them all read....
Thanks to everyone who has been concerned for my well being. You guys and gals are great!!!!
I've had quite an adventure for the last 6 weeks. First, my computer was so messed up, I decided to replace it. Yesterday I received my new ACER desktop. It seems to be just fine.
While I was trying to figure out my old computer, I began hallucinating, thinking that people such as my kids were conspiring against me. They got so concerned that they took me to the ER.
Now most of you know that I have always enjoyed my Black Velvet in moderation. However, it seems that I became diabetic, causing the hallucinations. Alcohol and diabetes do not mix! After a few days treatment at the hospital, my kids decided that I needed to go to a "28 day" rehab facility. Now I am a graduate of "Drugs and Alcohol 101"!!! I also learned how to eat a more diabetic-friendly diet and to test my blood sugar.
All in all, this has been a highly informative experience and currently my health is 100%. I've even lost a few pounds [:-bouncy]
So now I need to get my life on a new track and this includes boating. Does anyone know of any boating clubs or groups which are non-drinking? Maybe a group in the delta which embraces Bill W's philosophy? If so, please email me at boaterbetsy*at*gmail.com or send me a PM.
I don't expect to be using my boat for a while. It is needed some fixing anyway.
Again, thanks for all of the support and Bless You All!
