Fuel dock making progress! Don't think it will be a floating dock though.

I can't imagine they wouldn't made it a floating dock however the main and the office would be on a fixed dock.

I came across this on FB I thought it was cute so I figured I would share this.

Bob told me a couple of months ago that they might go this way because it is cheaper and easier to maintain. Also that dock is the first thing to get damaged in a storm so this way he thought it might prevent having to fix it again but who knows.
I think I do better than the average human in regards to bear and walking ONLY. :-) I drink less and walk/run more. :-)

Mike. I finally found the article. Looked all day :-) I also looked at my engine survey made by cummins mechanic. He did indicate bad reading of rpm and his opinion was that engines run at 2600. Regardless I will call Chuck (and be sure to mention Bob!) this week. The article is good information and other then that there is a lot of good material there so thank you for the reference.

Allen,
I know that my volvo's spec says 2600 wot, however the dealer and mfg said you should get 2750 at wot for testing, not that you should run it at 2750. I know the engines will not allow to go over 2750 as they will detune. I am not sure with Cummins, however the theory may be the same.

Even Cummins recently "admitted" that they should hit 2750. Their bulletin saying so is on boatdiesel.

Anyone hear about Wayne's health issues? I also heard they still havent gotten insurance $ for repairs yet.

Many of us have decided not to discuss his health issues as that is a very personal matter. If he chooses to discuss them here then it would be a different story.

Wayne can afford to do the repairs now and get the insurance check later.

I wish him well that's all I will say!

Happy to see you guys are leaving his health issues out of discussion.

A public forum is no place for such a discussion.

Let's move on...

Hogan what is your launch date? I not sure when I will get in this year for a change I'm not in a big rush I want to finish all my projects and maybe let guys like you check for mine fields in the river and anchorages.

As soon as the marina gets me ready, I'm in. It's up to them. I'm having them wax it this year, all I have to do is uncover and get the props back on. Hopefully, April 1.
