Funny how the deep water marina didn't send out invitations to their party. I guess no one's perfect.

ouch!

You Haverstraw boaters must have money coming out your wazoos!

Is there deep water there?

Don't feel bad Hank I was not notified of it either, except by Audrey II. Not sure how the word got out... So what is the over/under on the number of pages this will hit once it gets back on topic.

First of all...I really have no idea what the topic is here but me guess is it will continue to carry on until something else of higher importance takes its place. All in...no more than 8 pages.

I say nine. New question about SPBM how many new docks will they install in the new super marina??

Anybody think the rates will go up at this new, high end marina?

Ben I invited you too:) You still didn't let me know either.
The invite went out via Facebook to the best of my knowledge.

As for pages I say 10 unless some new interesting topic pops up. Heck I say we keep it going until spring the topic may float around but the thread will still be here.

Here is a post from HM's Facebook page...

2012 ANNUAL MARINA MEMBER PARTY
This Friday December 7th at 7pm we will hold our Annual Marina Party and all are invited whether you're a Marina Member or Not. The general public is welcome to bring there own group.
The festivities begin at 7pm. Stationary and Passed Hors d'oeuvres will be served. During the cocktail hour only all our

As a little after diner excitement by popular demand Stone flower( Santana Tribute Band) takes the stage. These guys are somewhat new to us and had people raving about them after the first time they were here.

The price for the cocktail hour and dinner is $60 INCLUDING gratuity and tax

That is true. Perhaps thats why from what I have heard there is a very small committment. If it were not for a boating neighbor, I would have never known about it. It is also $60.00 head with Beer, wine and soda at cocktail hour only. I thought that was kind of high but perhaps I'm just out of touch with reality. Anyway, I will be there.

According to their FB post the Cocktail hour AND Dinner is $60.00

Hank's point was that the Beer wine and soda was only during cocktail hour he knows dinner was included.

Hell I'm in Myrtle Beach, and I've known about this "party" for over two weeks. You folks need to open up your lines of communication.

2012 Annual Marina Member Party, which is open to the general public? Down here we call this a restaurant.

Although I'm thinking for $60 a person, you can party just about anywhere.

Yeah, open to the general public does not make it sound like a marina party. What's the point. It is definitely different than what was told to use when we were there for lunch 2 weeks ago. It was promoted as the Haverstraw marina party with a cost of 35.95 per person and it was a buffet with beer and wine for the evening. When I called Haverstraw they said that you needed to call the restaurant for more information. It is a holiday party and not a marina holiday party, that explains why anyone can attend.
