March 16th ....

Maybe that will turn the weather tide in a good way ! If not we will have a new ice breaker ?

In my dreams... so cold and so much snow out i think it will be another late launch year. Cant see any work done until April.
 
Its gunna be 80 degrees here today......I was considering taking the community boat out and run around the lake....chasing gators.... for a few hours.

Does that make March 1 my splash date ???.......... :) :)
 
Allen I'm heading to the boat in a few minutes it's time to get started! Well at least start digging it out:)
 
Went down to fit my rocket launcher. Turned on the ice eaters in the yard for te half hour I was there.

Mid April is the target.
 
Shrink comes off Saturday.... Then need one 50 degree day to bottom paint. If that doesn't pan out we splash and re haul at a later time. Im not WAITING !

There is light at the end of the tunnel.
The forecast is for the 40's in the coming week, and people are at least talking about splash dates.

I gave up and went to florida. Won't come home until we can see our lawn!

Can the temperature really get to 50? I don't remember how it feels! :-)
 
Going on a cruise out of NY end of March, will visit the launch when I get back. Bottom paint is the gig for launch date. :)
Went to the boat Saturday, never even got out of the car!
 
So much snow surrounding my boat.... I dont care how they dig her out ... they have two weeks!

42 Saturday..... SHRINK COMES OFF.... please !
 
If you actually launch March 16th this year that will be a new level of craziness or dedication, I'm not sure which yet :)

YOU .....my friend .....need to move to Florida where they boat 12 months a year and a good A/C business is in serious demand. :)
