4/24 is my date so far, may move it up but don't know yet....

FYI Travel lift blew a hydraulic line.

Looks like friday. 2 weeks late ... such is life

Thank god wasnt me in the lift when it happened. Portions of the boat covered in hydraulic fluid.

In any event im in and now its snowing .....JOY

I went to the marina today to pull the cover, the wind picked up the temperature dropped and then it started to rain I took it as a message and went home tomorrow is another day.
 
Okay, one weekend 90% complete....both engines ran up and no smoke, fire, rats, ghosts.....Hull is painted and waxed....can't believe I got it all done.....so 4/24 and Off I go.
 
Bottom painted.
Zincs on.
Props coated.
Anchor fixed.
Checked fluids.
I am ready to go but still waiting till 4/25.
Want to pull props and grease.
Move Sat Dish up on new mount.
New blue lights.
Sand and re-caulk synthetic teak.
New Fuel filters.
 
Had both dripless shaft sleeves replaced. I went in Saturday and took a nice cruise to lighthouse on Sunday. Felt great to be back on water. Life make sense again!
 
I spashed.
Boat ran good.
Cold as I still don't have my new canvas.
Buoys are not in. Which makes it hard to navigate but have to use cookie trails.
 
COME TO MERRICK ... ill show u hard to navigate my friend.

It's actsully pretty easy when going slow but when up on plane its tougher.
More a psych thing as you can see buoys on plotter but visually its deceiving.
It's nice to have a target.
 
Always nice to have target....

Ran boat last nite with FLIR ... very cool... very unsettling .... U have to really trust ur equipment . Im a guy that doesnt trust anything or anyone !

Set for launch Mon or Tues. New holding tank will go in later.
