What are rentals going for over there?

I paid $103.50/ft (includig 10% discount for early pmt in full) for this summer including utilities. There are no amenities like pool etc. either.

Gee Mark.. for a few more bucks you could be at a real 12 month YC.. ;)

I'd ask which one but why get Rob all worked up so late in the day. :)

Seriously though, part of our reason to visit the south shore this spring is to see how well we would adapt to a different boating style for where we go after this season and of course to hang out for a few days with some of you guys.

Mark, If you happen to swing by on Sunday, I can show you a few of the local routes on my GPS / maps. I will be there from around Noon to about 4:00. I am not working the open house officially, but I will be back and forth from my boat to the club house to help out. But mostly at the boat listening to tunes and wishing for spring. Of course an adult bev will be had.

Do they even have water ? No Water, No Buoys. WTF....

We are looking at first weekend in April. Funny, I heard same thing about Merrick, which is why my boat is kept in Freeport, even though we live in Merrick! :)

Hell, I'd take that actually, I don't need the amenities. Just poles water and electric works for me.

I didn't realize I needed to bring a date to this event? I hope my wifey doesn't mind if I ask someone else to go with me, as she doesn't like the cold weather too much.

I usually try to get out sometime in March. Most years, there is that one spring-like day where the temperature sqeaks into the 70s. Then I have to half-winterize again (actually, I just drain the block).

U guys suck!!!!

Mark,
My real slip will be vacant july 4th tru september. ( yes the one in MERRICK ) If u want to use it Let me know and Ill inquire .
Also the one slip I rent in the anchorage will be empty during the same time . So if u wantto go hang with walter Id have no problem with that. The merrick one I have to get permission. The anchorage u can do what yea want . Would just need u to pay for electric. ( as the current tenat would get that bill )

Rob

PS u guys still suck ...

Can I use your slip in the Anchorage ????.............and sub rent it. :) :)

At least there's water under the docks there !!!!

If you had a slip in Sea View... I would jump on that.

SEAVIEW... are u kidding me ... that marina is a dump.... Ud think with all that money the MARINA would be a palace .... Its a $hithole. The way the homeowners Treat the transients is a disgrace. PAYING 200 a nite one would think there would be some kind of expectation one would be treated kindly and with respect.... Not in that place.... They see u behind that marina fence and ur a blight on THERE society.... and they tell u right to ur face.... NO THANK YOU

Rob

Sorry andy .... I hate that place....

The slip is 15' beam. ( anchorage )
