After looking for a boat for about a year we found a nice 2002 410 Sundancer with diesels back in November up in Ct. and closed in early December. Marine Max included winterization, wrap, storage, and Spring prep and detailing in the sale.

I'm going to keep it at my property in Lindenhurst.
I sold my old boat in early June thinking I had a deal on a 2004 380, but the seller was a knucklehead, so that deal fell apart and I went boatless last summer.
It turned out to be a good thing for me because I wound up with something I think I'll be happier with, and bad for the seller of the 380 because he's still trying to sell that boat.
It was nice having a winter off from winterization, storage, and making ready again for Spring, but I really missed my boat last summer and I'm glad I don't have to go another season without one.

Awesome .. I love the boot stripe

My buddy has the same boat except with a hard top . Its a rare bird.
Great luck with it

I wanted to take my boat out tomorrow. Are the buoys in yet in Lindenhurst, Babylon and Copiague?

Thanks! It's a Monaco Edition. That's why it has the blue stripe. We love it.
Going to be a tight squeeze at my dock trying to get the 45 1/2' LOA alongside 50' of bulkhead but the bow thruster should help.

You are going to be amazed how well the 410 handles around the dock. it will do exactly what you ask it to do. Make sure rudders are straight, leave throttles alone and it will do whatever you want it to do only using gears. But, with the tight squeeze you have the bow thruster will come in handy. I have never had a boat where I looked forward to docking, until this one. You will love it.

And I heard the blue boot makes it handle even better. :)

LOL, That's what they tell me.

Dani-Lu - I think I saw your boat in the slings yesterday ready to go in. Are you at Rutherig?

I splashed today, time to start the season! :)

John,

Yes, that must have been me. I spoke to Howard Sr. today and assuming all is good, I should be starting my season next week. I am up the canal at Marinemax.

Took off shrinkwrap on Thursday. Friday and Saturday, they washed, detailed, and waxed "Family Affair'. She looks gorgeous. Best detailer I ever had. Need to do a thousand and one little things before launch. Hope to be in the water by next weekend. Weather is fabulous. Bouys are in in western Sound. Hoping to do a trial run next Saturday. Season's begun. Hy

Finally ready to launch plan is Friday but may push up to tomorrow. It seemed like a lot of work this year I must be getting older!

Today looks awesome ... get out and rockandroll...

All buoys from Wantagh to inlet are in ...

Freeport nautical mile nothing to report. No improved slips for transients. Huge area by fred chall should be taken over by town and made a transient only dock and charge ... People woud flock toa nice dock in Freeport right in the middle of the mile ... WTF is wrong with people not pushing this . Only in TOH can water front property go to waste.... IDIOTS

Going in tomorrow morning; of course, light rain is expected! Once in, my 'to-do' list can get done. The big project is to pull the hot water heater and repair or replace it. I have to pull the riser and exhaust hose on the starboard engine to reach it. Poor design. Hy

Boat went in on Monday with no problems. Rained since! Plan to try to work on it tomorrow (Thursday) and have things up to par by next weekend. Then we're going on vacation so our boat will sit for at least a week; she should be fine. Have a great season, all. Hy

I splashed April 15th. Still waiting for my 19' on the racks to come down. Summer can't get here fast enough!

Katie. I see u guys had some work done over at open bay very nice ...
