Hank you can come help me instead:) I'm planning to pull this weekend unless it's too windy.
 
Happy to. Let me know when. If I remember correctly from last year, I helped you pull your cover then the following week I helped you shovel the snow off your boat.
 
Really! Are you trying to jinx me now? It's time I have a little work to complete on the arch and in the morning, my father in-law is going to work on prepping the bottom (I may just touch up I have to take a good look). In the afternoon I would like to pull the cover. I hope to get a couple days next week to clean and wax then complete everything by next weekend. Maybe during the following week I will be able to launch in time to beat you to the dock:)
 
Nice to see that you're giving your father-in-law the "dirty" job... He preps the bottom while you're goofing off on the arch
 
Oddly he enjoys doing this and frankly I'm not comfortable with him climbing the ladder up onto the boat, he will do it but I will be worried the entire time. Up until a few years ago he use to come to work with me but every time I turned around I would find him on a ladder while he never got hurt I would not have been able to live with myself if he did. Now that I think about it he helped me barrier coat then paint the whole boat when I had it stripped, he is a hard worker and a good man!
 
I'm a lucky man in this department my in-laws have been great! In fact if not for them I most likely would even have a boat.

Sadly the weather is not looking so good for this weekend not sure what will actually get done. Weekend starts now and I'm not even in the mode to head up to the boat.
 
Yep, heavy rain tomorrow and Sunday. Cover is staying on another week. I'll have to tell my waxer she has the weekend off...
