I like the sound of this!

Drove by today, HM is almost a solid sheet of ice, Stony Point bay is filled with ice, there is ice all the way from shore to the main channel...

Boats in marinas are stll blocked in by huge piles of frozen snow/ice. I highly doubt ANYONE will be in the water before mid-April.

On the bright side, I am going to miss those 12' high piles of black snow

Don't bet on it. Unless something unexpected happens, I plan on being in my slip by April 1st. Fortunately I should have a heated bridge.

Hope you bought an ice breaker

I see Haverstraw has snow chains on the travel lift. I think they mean business!!!! ;)

The river is 34.6 degrees. If you want to anchor at Croton with the water that cold be my guest. The stripers don't bite until the water gets near fifty degrees. Most of you aren't into fishing but some of you are. The breeze off the river when the water is this cold feels like razor blades on your skin. I can wait until everything warms up, the water and the air.

Is it time to start working on the boats yet? 35 degrees and rising, are we done with the snow yet?

35 in FL? 30 here 5 miles north from you and "feels like 23". Hope to get to the boat and take of my port side hydraulic platform pistons. Any vole tiers to help taking of the props?

Allen I'm heading to Westchester but should be back this afternoon do you have the tools to pull your props?

Was too much snow around the boat to do anything, thanks for offering. Maybe next week. I did got an adapter to connect the BBQ to a standard propane tank, zincs and pads for wax.

You can borrow my snow blower. Trust me, it's still nice and warmed up. Used it today to clear part of my driveway
