The clock is ticking!

I didn't hear about more snow next week, I did hear about a chance of snow this Thursday but doesn't sound like much. I was thinking this weekend might be a good time to pull the cover but maybe it will have to wait yet another week. I have so much to do and so little time!

I think this weekend is still early to remove the shrink. All it takes is one snow day to possibly ruin the camper.

And we thought Haverstraw was expensive!!!

Normally by this time, my cover would be off and I'd be starting to wax. I honestly don't see the cover coming off until the end of this month...

Yeah, their rates are outrageous for a week or month at a time. You would think after 2 years being there they would not try to rape us like that for the extra week or so.

Some massive damage to neighboring marina:

A little good news...the Haverstraw/Ossning ferry is back in operation. This means the river has broken free. Baby steps.

Looking at the pictures above and looking at the weather forcast for tonight and tomorrow I have one thought. "It's gonna be a while."

Hey, it's only going to be -4 windchill tomorrow morning...

Todd, that's Charles Point, on the other side of the river, just north of Indian Point.

OK. You bring the ice ax. We'll give you a 4 hour head start. Call us on the radio when you're done.

No problem. Heard Alan is bringing the hot dogs. Starting to rethink the no Benny rule.

You should revisit my boat, it is mint and more space than you really need. Heads and heals over a SeaRay, I get the 50c gig, but really, I passed on that because of draft and places that could accommodate that width of boat.

I have confidence that the boat has been found and it was worth the wait to find the perfect boat! If I win the lottery within the next few years I plan to buy it from Hank when he moves up or down or whatever he does next:) I just have to remember to buy a few lotto tickets!
