What do you do?

Lawyer - after leaving finance because I saw where that was going. It's not what it once was, and thankfully I picked up on it soon enough. If I ever find 'the' marina for sale I might take a look.

Anybody own a marina, not have kids and want to sell? Haha

Out of college I went to work in the alarm and telephone business I have been in it 26 years now. In 95' I became a partner and in 08' I bought out my partner so he could retire. These days the business is mostly about camera systems. You may see my newest truck on the road soon. We do a bit of work in Long Island.

Dave, I might call you. My house has a Swann system, cameras are mounted, wires are ran to the house, but thats it. It needs to be completed.

I paid my way through college selling adult DVD videos online, as well as Sean John clothing line on ebay.
Graduated, went to work for a limousine company, guy I worked for was a complete D-bag, so I started my own company. (a few ROs used my service) I was working way too much, had a heart attack while driving my personal car, and I sold the business. Was working around the clock all the time.

Took some time off relaxed, tried looking for a bigger boat, but I wanted to work. I got into flipping houses here on Long Island and have been doing it over since.

On occasion I still help some friends in the limo industry when they are short handed in the office..

Sorry it wasn't my intent to advertise just responding to a winter thread! This said if I can be of help with advice anyone can feel free to contact me. While I do work the tristate area it is mostly for commercial jobs the residential work I try to keep more local it is hard to provide good service if I spread myself to thin.

Retired and living in Florida after a 35 year career in International Business.

Early in life tried driving race cars for a living but a complete and total lack of talent put a timely end to that. After that, worked on and crewed race cars as a hobby.
