When will you uncover

Tough day today as some of you know I hired someone to sand and prep my boat for paint. He got about 1/3 the way through the job when I got a call from the marina they said the guy I hired is making a mess and is not licensed or insured and can not continue. This was not the call a was hoping for. Needless to say based on where I got this guy and the price he was charging it was never even a thought. He even told me that he check in with the yard before he started (not the case}. In any event I had already given him a sizable deposit so it put me in a real bad spot. I spoke to the yard and I must say they could not have been nicer and more understanding. They offered to complete the job at a reasonable price. Now I have to try to get some money back from the other guy.
Unfortunately the yard can't do the work until next week so the cover stays on yet another week.
 
I guess he didn't tarp things up. Your boat is at Patsy's for the winter right?

That's correct and Jim called me today to give me the bad news. I ran over there a as I said he could not have been nicer. He said he would get the job finished next week. Tic Toc time is going fast now, So much to do

Jim,
You will need to go past Kingston to Stony Point. Just look for the blue haze in the sky.

I heard you were working on an air ride system Bob. That way you can lower the stern
and the name can double as underwater lights!

Well we did have a plane land in bowline the last year or so.
Perhaps they mistook the lights for landing lights!

I'm jealous I was hoping to uncover but looks like next week for me. I have to work tomorrow anyway so looks like I got screwed twice. Maybe I'll stop by mid day and tinker. Best of luck to all that have the good fortune to uncover this weekend. Hope all goes well no surprises would be good.

Snow? I heard 50s was it an old report maybe watching a show that you recorded, I hope.

Hey, he has been wrong before....Besides that what is a little snow....Hope to finish waxing this weekend. Have a few small jobs I need to get done and then its time to sit and atch everyone else get there boats ready....
 
Weather forgast alway's have to cover themselves, 50% chance of sun, 50% chance of rain or 50% sun or 50% snow. Should have been a weather man.
