Scott did the panels for my '95 330 and I finished intalling them this weekend. Scott does good work. It is a tedious project with all the details and wiring, but the panels look great.
I learned a few tricks. #1 make a wiring diagram of every guage and switch. I tried taking pics, but that didn't work. It does not take much time to do. It doesn't have to be pretty, just so you know where the purple #7 wire goes. I also uses wire ties and bundled the wires for each guage/switch. This made re-assembly much easier. And don't loose any parts. When I reassembled things, the port engine wouldn't start <tripped the breaker>. The problem was a lost lock washer had wedged itself between two studs on the port tach causing the short. And it was hiding up a bunch if wire. It took a little bit if time to resolve that one.
I've heard the the switch covers on these switches can be changed out <I have 2 that look bad>, but I could not figure out how to get them off, or where to get new ones. Anyone know?
